Chuck and Ellen Broughton have served with The Navigators since 1968, working on university campuses, in urban areas, and with churches both in the U.S. and overseas. They have lived in England, Indonesia, and Singapore with regional responsibilities for Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia. Current ministries are based both in the U.S. and overseas. Chuck ministers in a number of prisons throughout the U.S. and creates Bible study and training material for use in prison ministry. These materials have found a much broader use around the world, having been translated into Spanish and eight other Asian and Indian languages. Chuck is also creating programming that is recorded onto small machines for use in villages and rural areas with the 70% of the world who are unable to read. Training pastors, evangelists and church planters how to use and develop these materials is a part of Chuck’s international responsibility.

Chuck and Ellen have three boys, Kevin (an architectural engineer), Eric (a civil engineer), and Greg (who is studying mechanical engineering). Ellen is an R.N. working part-time as the Site-Coordinator for mobile blood drives for Memorial Hospital in Colorado Springs.
